Att: Buyer of Condenser tubes
Abco Metals is a leading importer of semi finished non-ferrous
metal products for over 20 years. We have been supplying C706 tubes from China
for 14 years to our US customers. Recently , as you probably know, one of the
major producers of this c706 tubing has stopped production and left the US with
no producer of this alloy. Lead times from other mill sources have become
extended.
Abco has been primarily supplying these tubes on a "back
to back" basis, meaning from the mill to the customer , directly with a
4-6 week lead time + 40 day transit time. In an effort to supply the
customers that need fast deliveries and LCL quantities ( less than container
loads) we have entered into an agreement with a domestic mill to take our long
lengths and cut them to your required lengths from 1' to 40' . These tubes will
conform and be certified to ASME SB 111 or ASTM B111.
Our initial stocking program will start with 5/8" od x
.049" average wall and 5/8" od x .035" average wall. We
expect arrival of the first stock to be available in Jan ' 08.
We are able to get any of the Condenser tube alloys and sizes for
this stocking program. If you are interested in the above items or if you wish
to have other sizes included in this program , please let us know. We would
like to become your supplier of these products. We are also specialists in the
small diameter oil cooler tubes and would welcome your inquires for these tubes
in copper and cupro nickel as well as strip for the baffles and forgings for
the end caps.
